What makes Current live?
The Live grid shows people with Current open who have chosen to be visible. It refreshes as people join, leave or pause. Their status gives you a way to start a conversation now. The optional Ghost Lounge is separate and clearly marked for people who recently left.
Can I use Current for free?
Yes. You get five Pings per rolling 24 hours, your local Live grid, nearby-city discovery, replies, and mutual Afterglow. An accepted Ping with a reply earns its sender one send back. Current Plus adds 20 sends each paid billing month and unlimited Travel.
Do I have to wait until the evening?
No velvet rope. Current is open all day. There’s an optional Early Check-In reward: step onto the grid with a fresh status from 6:00 to 6:15 PM, Monday through Thursday in your local time, for one bonus send.
What if I miss a Spark?
Life happens. After a Ping is accepted with a reply, the sender has ten minutes to arrive. During that window, the Spark starts when both people connect in the room, or the sender first replies. Miss that arrival window and your reply stays. Either person can ask for a fresh Spark.
Can I meet people before I travel?
That’s the idea. With Current Plus, choose a city, explore its Live grid, and send Pings before you get there. You’re shown as a traveler, and people can choose whether to see travelers. Messaging begins when your Ping is accepted.
What happens when the 15 minutes end?
If you both choose to keep talking, the conversation moves into Afterglow. No paid extension needed. You can also end a conversation, pause, block, or report at any time.
When can I download it?
Current is coming to iPhone and Android. Downloads aren’t available yet. Store links will appear here when the apps are ready.
